Scientific headline
The exact y/z-reduced fine-grid input pole is spectrally and PML converged on its controlled grid. Two bounded common-ascent steps followed by one shifted constrained-MMA step improved centered atom LDOS from 0.585294311 to 0.586177236 and Q-fit from 172.161687 to 172.706389. The latest topology passed a fresh spectral validator and its own seven-case PML campaign. Grid/domain convergence is still missing, so this is not a physical/device Q claim.
Symmetry acceleration
The Maxwell solve now uses the exact y/z parity sector of the centered z dipole: 68,640 → 16,960 fine-grid unknowns. A measured frequency point fell from about 280 s and 17.685 GiB to 6.09 s and 0.677 GiB. The x direction is not reduced because an exact implementation must exchange both retarded periodic leads and preserve the longitudinal Yee staggering and mirror phase.
Atom objective
The implemented target is the centered, z-polarized projected Green LDOS at 780 nm, divided by a same-grid homogeneous-cladding reference. The proposal engine follows the moving real part of a retarded-real-axis Loewner pole with constrained MMA while fixed atom-frequency LDOS and independently fitted Q remain strict acceptance gates. It does not yet claim bare g, QNM mode volume, beta factor, or trapping performance.
