The layered background is converted into the unperforated Si3N4 strip through the exact finite-dimensional Dyson equation

D_wg(beta) = I - k0^2 (epsilon_SiN - epsilon_air) G_layered(beta),
G_wg(beta) = D_wg(beta)^(-1) G_layered(beta).
