Design23 result¶
Status: provisional publication candidate
Design23 uses a SiO₂/Si₃N₄/anthracene/PVA stack, 42 positive-side elliptical holes, and 126 free hole parameters. Its historical primary candidate is one pure-BFGS trajectory from exact step 0 to exact step 105.

The differing runtimes are enough to make this an audit comparison rather than a matched paper result. The value 20,942.06 belongs to a different qualified seed and is never substituted for this trajectory's initial endpoint.
Retained fields¶

Tidy3D XY-midplane \(|E|^2\) at 792.35 nm (step 0) and 770.50 nm (step 105), with geometry overlay. Each panel uses its own native normalization and color bar, so peak colors are not a cross-panel amplitude comparison. These legacy fields will be replaced by matched publication reruns.
