Before any paid job¶
- [x] Freeze exact historical candidate geometry IDs.
- [x] Keep initial and optimized variants paired by all simulation settings.
- [x] Define the “final above initial in every matched variant” gate.
- [ ] Generate dry-run task count and solver cost estimate.
- [ ] Obtain explicit budget authorization.
- [ ] Record solver version and immutable simulation JSON for every task.
Required output per endpoint¶
- resonance frequency/wavelength, Q, fitting error, mode identity, and localization;
- convergence across spatial, runtime, PML, and padding variants;
- matched-axis geometry and explicit material legend;
- matched field planes with quantity/component, wavelength, normalization, and color limits;
- spectrum and ringdown diagnostic with matched axes;
- task ID, cost, source artifact, plotting generator, and caption provenance.
Promotion rule¶
A device claim remains provisional if any executed matched variant changes mode, fails the fit threshold, lacks provenance, or has final Q at or below initial Q. The central ratio will be chosen by the declared refinement rule, not by the largest observed value.
