Gen 2 — collection optics (in progress)

Active R&D on the next-generation collection path: emitter-lens codesign, TiO2/asphere inverse design, and a dual-decoupled lens variant. This hasn't been assembled into a full chip the way Gen 1 was — it currently lives as subsystem-level work under Fiber & Collection Optics → Gen-2 lens codesign, since that's what it structurally is: one subsystem's design space, not yet a device.

This page will grow into a real Gen-2 overview once the collection-optics work is finalized and paired with the rest of a chip (input coupling, electrodes, packaging) the way single_molecule_device_v1 was for Gen 1.
