Nanopositioning Probes¶
Mechanical probe designs, v1 through v20 (numbering skips v19 — never
built). Each version below has its own page with a rendered iso + top-view
schematic (generated from its STL by tools/render_probe_schematics.py),
its dimensions file, and links to every STL in that version's folder.
Broad arc across versions: early designs (v1-v5) explore hollow cone/tiny-probe/forklift geometries with multi-part combined assemblies; mid versions (v6-v9) settle into membrane and simple-taper probes; later versions (v10-v20) iterate taper/cylinder/prism geometries and multi-part device assemblies (v20 combines a center cylinder, corner cones, and a square prism base).

calibration_gds/— a calibration dot grid (4-inch wafer, 10mm chips) used for stage/positioning calibration, distinct from the Nanoscribe process-calibration grid under Crystal Deposition.text_boy_stl/— text STL generation (Arial, Courier New, Segoe UI, Times New Roman) for probe/chip labeling, with font-size calibration data.
