Gratings & Light Extractors

Grating couplers and light extractors, split by propagation geometry:

  • In-plane photon extractor — a parametrized in-plane light-extractor package (geometry / materials / monitors / optimizer as an importable CLI tool, not a one-off notebook), with baseline configs and swept runs. This is also the design space behind the input grating coupler used in single_molecule_device_v1.
  • Out-of-plane inverse-designed extractor — notebooks for bullseye-cavity, planar, and SIL-coupled out-of-plane extractor variants.
