assumptions
Angles are measured wrt the substrate normal.
The requested option 1 is used: inner surface is 30 degrees and outer surface is 60 degrees.
The inner cone point is at z=100 and radius 0.
The outer cone is offset above z=100 so the z=100 section is a 120 degree sector with area 45.
The structure is bounded by radial side walls at phi=-60 degrees and phi=60 degrees.
