Cavity & Purcell Enhancement

Cavities and reflectors intended to enhance emitter decay rate (Purcell factor) and collection efficiency (η), building on the coupling geometries in Emitter Coupling:

  • Anthracene in-plane cavity — TIR-tunnel excitation into an inverse-designed + fishbone-reflector Purcell cavity, all in-plane Si3N4
  • Fishbone reflector — the fishbone-geometry Bragg-like reflector used as the cavity mirror above; a standalone geometry module the in-plane cavity study imports directly
  • Slot waveguide Purcell study — dipole above a Si3N4 slot waveguide, Purcell factor vs. geometry
  • DBR (TiO2/SiO2) mirror stack — distributed Bragg reflector as an alternative cavity-mirror option to the fishbone reflector or a PEC backplane
