Organic molecules

Michel Orrit measured a DWFC factor of 0.8 for terrylene adsorbed on hexagonal boron nitride flakes at cryogenic temperatures [article].

Beyond the linear regime, there is a clear exponential take-off from about 50 K, which corresponds to a rather high Debye temperature of 405 ± 41 K. This is considerably higher than the 10–40 K mentioned for dibenzoterrylene (DBT) in anthracene44–46 and found in all organic matrices.
